To Find the Peace in Madness

Melancholia came to visit again today...she doesn't come around as much this year but when she does, she stays a while...I'm trying...

This unseen pressure is crushing
Eating outward yet never having burrowed inward
A virgin birth inside my innocence
Overpowering, raping my spirit and my will
An inexplicable fixation on the darkness
To accept the descent into madness is to find relief
To sleep with the demons inhabiting the tunnels of mind is to find peace
To explode with ruthless termination of existence is to find freedom
